Shir Shacharit this Shabbat, October 29, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. A servicein the style of Shir Hadash, but the service will only include P'sukei D'Zimra and Shacharit, and will not include a Torah reading or a sermon.
After the service, you can join the Traditional service for the Torah reading, or participate in one of these exciting new programs:
sTORy Journey: "Floating on a Sea of Hope and Promise: Parashah Noach” with Storyteller/Author/Educator/Torah Teacher Cherie Karo Schwartz. Parashah Noach is a well-known story, yet we will delve deeper into the blessings of ancient wisdom, new questions, insights, and personal connections. We will all learn and teach together in the Wellspring of Torah. This program is geared toward adults and teens. (Chapel)

Michael Schatz Memorial Lecture - Can We Laugh at the Holocaust? Sunday, October 30, 5:00 p.m., Temple Emanuel Is it ever possible to use humor in discussing the Holocaust? History shows that even its victims used humor as a means of survival and resistance. Ferne Pearlstein’s thought-provoking documentary The Last Laugh puts this question to well-known comedians, writers, and thinkers.
