Building Jewish Resiliency on Campus (at Temple Sinai) Monday, July 21, 8:00p Building Jewish Resiliency on Campus is a community-wide event designed to help empower students toward resilience and finding Jewish joy on campus. This supportive program will feature a panel of professionals from Hillel, StandWithUs, JCRC, Chabad, ADL, and mental health professionals. This program is for Jewish students thinking about, preparing for, or attending college, parents, and other loved ones. Kosher dessert reception will follow. There is no cost for the program.

Jewish Women's Retreat Friday, Sep., 5th to Sunday, Sep 7th Rabbi Sarah Shulman and Gitit Kaufman will lead a dynamic group of Jewish women for a relaxing and reinvigorating weekend celebrating Shabbat, friendship, Torah study, hiking, and spirituality at Ramah in the Rockies. This retreat is a perfect opportunity to build lasting friendships and prepare for the upcoming High Holidays. HEA Choir Initiative - SHIRU! (Singing Here, In Ru’ach and Unity) The mission of the SHIRU! is to enhance Jewish identity and community engagement through lifelong involvement in choral singing. To that end, the SHIRU is launching three choirs: Nevatim (sprouts): Kids choir for grades 2-5, Kaftorim (buds): Youth choir for grades 6-12, Prachim (flowers): Adult choir, open to ages 13 and up. One of our congregants has asked if we could assist with a project to help beautify Shalom Park. She is seeking embroidered or artistic Torah coverings, prayer cloths, tallitot, and/or tallit bags to be used in creating tapestries for display at Shalom Park. If you have any old or unused items to donate for this project, please drop them off at the HEA office or let us know, and we'll help coordinate a pickup of the donated items.
